Moving forward successfully requires a structured approach. First, leaders must get clear on their strengths and development opportunities. Then develop and implement action plans to elevate their leadership approach.

My clients are typically successful leaders who are taking on bigger responsibilities. Or, they’re preparing for taking on bigger responsibilities in the future.

They’re hard workers who want to achieve their potential. But they also live full lives outside of their day-to-day jobs. Their families, hobbies, and communities are important to them, and they want to build relationships, make an impact, and be fulfilled - both at work and home.

Before I started Core Leadership, I was a talent leader in Fortune 100 companies for over 20 years.

My experience has given me a bias for clear goals, action, and results. I take a grounded, practical approach, and share the lessons I’ve learned through experience when it helps accelerate learning.

My Coaching Approach

Step 1: Establish Scope & Goals

At the beginning of each engagement, I work with the client and key stakeholders to set clear goals. We identify where we will focus to strengthen capabilities and change behaviors.

Step 2: Assessment & Feedback

We leverage best-in-class assessment tools to help clients gain deeper insight. These typically include personality assessments and 360-degree feedback interviews with key stakeholders.

Step 3: Development Priorities & Planning

We work with the client to prioritize their development so that they focus on the most important areas. We plan specific actions in order to make tangible progress during the engagement.

Step 4: Ongoing Development

We support the client as they implement their development plan. The client takes action, we facilitate reflection on what’s working and what’s not working. And we work together to adapt the plan as needed during the engagement.

Step 5: Celebrate Progress

As the engagement draws to a close, we check-in for feedback on progress, celebrate wins, and identify next steps to maintain momentum.
